PROPOSAL/FUNDING/PROJECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

1. The project titled “Brain Tumour Segmentation and Classification of MRI images using Deep Learning Model” is approved by Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST), Government of Karnataka under K-FIST L1 Scheme for Rs 15 Lakhs as a Co-Principal Investigator in the year 2021-22. Established a Machine Learning Research Lab at Information Science and Engineering Department and successfully completed the project in 2023-24.

2. The project titled “Autonomous Vehicle Collision Avoidance” is selected by Karnataka State Council For Science and Technology (KSCST), IISC, Bangalore under 47th series of Student Project Programme (SPP): 2023-24 and received a grant of Rs 5,000/-.

3. Applied FDP proposal for VGST, GoK, on “Data Analytic Tools and Natural Language Processing” as a Principal Investigator in June 2024.

4. Applied online FDP proposal for ATAL, GoI, on “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Systems” as a Coordinator in September 2024.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: INSTITUTE LEVEL

• Lead as a Chief Admission Officer from April 2025 to June 2026.

• Lead as a Head, AIML-Center of Excellence to facilitate the training program on internship and final projects for final year students of CSE allied branches.

• Lead and administer all academic and administrative activities of the department to ensure effective planning, coordination, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure effective curriculum delivery and academic quality enhancement.

• Promote research, innovation, consultancy and funded projects.
