The Career Guidance Development and Placement Cell aims of bridging the gap between academia and industry. We focus on industry academic interface programs in collaboration with leading industries in various sectors. Training & Placement

The primary objective of Akshaya Institute of Technology Career Development and Placement cell is to develop and establish strong relationship with core industries and fortune corporate to facilitate aspiration of students for full time employment, internship, industrial projects, industrial visits, admission for higher education in India and Abroad. Career Development and Placement cell responsible for self-assessment of students, training on life skills, career planning skill development and enhance employability of students.

Mission

To achieve 100% placement for eligible students through proper training on aptitude, coding and programming skills, cognitive skills and Technical skills, problem solving skills, Group discussion and behavioral skills. The Career Development and Placement Cell, guided by a set of rules and principles, strives to maintain good relationship with industries. Preparing the recruitment schedule for the year, inviting corporations for pre-placement talks on the campus followed by final placements, and overseeing the process recruitment drive.

Career Guidance

The Students joined engineering to become a successful productive engineer. Students and their parents dream about their career and in many places, fail sometimes due to lack of proper guidance. The Placement Cell assists every student from their entry to college on the path towards their career, giving awareness about career options that everyone has. Most students think only about placements after their graduation as their career.

 

There are many other paths which the students are not aware about. After completing the B.E program, candidates can either pursue higher studies (one popular exam that they can give for this is GATE) or consider pursuing a job after BE in the field of their choice. Although M. Tech is a natural course choice after completing a B.E program, these days many students opt to take up MBA courses after completing their B.E degree program.

Other options that aspirants can consider include picking up a job at a PSU (Public Sector Undertaking), taking the Civil Services entrance exam, or joining a private company.

 

We provide knowledge about all the possible destinations for everyone. If any student wishes to change their paths after some time, there is an option. But, we want everyone to be specific about their career so that they are highly focused and attain success. Following are the different paths for an engineering students are Placements, Higher Studies – India and Abroad, Civil Service Exams, Government Jobs, Entrepreneurs.

The cell provides guidance on the various courses available in India and abroad, the admission process, scholarship opportunities, and the eligibility criteria. It also conducts seminars and workshops to educate students about the different options available for higher education.
